| REPORTING A CRIME/MISCONDUCT |
REPORTING A CRIME MIGHT BE AS EASY AS DIALING 911.
To report an EMERGENCY, DIAL 911 immediately (crime in progress, bomb threat, medical emergency, suspicious persons or unusual behavior, need help anywhere on or off campus, etc.).
To report a NON-EMERGENCY (bike theft, damaged vehicle, etc.), DIAL 612-624-COPS (2677) or e-mail (police@umn.edu). |
 |
| CONFIDENTIAL REPORTING: NON-CRIMINAL VIOLATIONS |
 |
Reporting incidents of misconduct (such as misuse of University
property or equipment, violation of safety rules; NCAA violations, misuse of the University's network of computers, etc.) by a University employee, co-worker, colleague, etc. can be much more difficult for employees.
