Central Security's mission is to create and promote a safe and secure environment through proactive, impartial, and innovative services.
Central Security offers the installation and maintenance of security systems for both renovation and new construction, aligning technology with the needs of the University community. Additionally, the integrated nature of our services allows us to handle every aspect of your physical and electronic security needs.
The University of Minnesota's Public Safety Emergency Communication Center (PSECC) can perform emergency after hours unlocks for your approved events. This applies only to doors controlled electronically through the CCURE access control system. There is an $80 per hour charge for this emergency service, with a one hour minimum. Department Access Coordinator authentication and departmental billing information is required in advance.
