Requesting access to Linux or Windows Servers

Linux Servers

Effective 11-15-2012 authentication to Linux servers will no longer require the VPN.

1. Follow the instructions found on the Technical Support site for Virtual Servers to request access to the Linux servers you need
2. If you do not already have an M Key, send an email to OIT Provisioning & Requests - Data Security at: x-secur@umn.edu

Windows Servers

Effective 11-15-2012 authentication to Windows servers will no longer require an M Key.
