Meeting Schedule
Charge
The duties for the Rules subcommittee are:
- To work on revising the Civil Services Rules.
- To respond to questions directed to the Committee as they relate to the Civil Services Rules.
- To discuss in the subcommittee (with an HR representative present to approve any changes pertinent to HR) any issues brought up by the constituents that may indicate a change in the Civil Services Rules.
- To work with HR on guidelines and clarifications.
- To keep the CS constituency aware and informed about Rules revisions in progress.
- To keep records of Rules suggestions, clarifications, and revisions and how their status develops over the course of the year.
- To present the revised rules to the Civil Service Constituency for hearings approximately every 2 years.
- To bring the Rules to the University Regents for official approval of new, revised rules after going through the procedures as described in the CSC Operation Manual.
