Meeting Schedule

The duties for the Rules subcommittee are:

To work on revising the Civil Services Rules.
To respond to questions directed to the Committee as they relate to the Civil Services Rules.
To discuss in the subcommittee (with an HR representative present to approve any changes pertinent to HR) any issues brought up by the constituents that may indicate a change in the Civil Services Rules.
To work with HR on guidelines and clarifications.
To keep the CS constituency aware and informed about Rules revisions in progress.
To keep records of Rules suggestions, clarifications, and revisions and how their status develops over the course of the year.
To present the revised rules to the Civil Service Constituency for hearings approximately every 2 years.
To bring the Rules to the University Regents for official approval of new, revised rules after going through the procedures as described in the CSC Operation Manual.
