Bell Museum of Natural History
At this campus museum, the "Touch the Sky: Prairie Photographs by Jim Brandenburg" exhibit will be featured the weekend of the conference. Admission is free on Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m.
Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum
This art museum is on campus, a short walk from the hotel.
Gopher Football
The Minnesota Golden Gophers host Indiana for their Homecoming game at the HHH Metrodome on Saturday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. Buy tickets at http://gophersports.com.
Guthrie Theater
Minneapolis' most famous playhouse recently moved into a new building across the river from campus. The weekend of the conference will feature Lost in Yonkers and Edgardo Mine.
Hennepin Theatre District
This is a collective of theaters big and small in Minneapolis.
Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra
The orchestra will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C and Symphony No. 3 in E-flat, Eroica, on Saturday, November 4 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 5, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University campus. To purchase tickets, see the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra site.
St. Anthony Main
This is a restored train station turned into a boutique mall. It's a nice place to go for dinner and a movie.
