Scotch Tasting with John Saucke
Friday, November 12 at 5:45

We always start with some tasty Campus Club food to insure that we have enough ballast for the Tasting. We will have Wursts, U of M Cheeses, Vegetables, and Breads.

The focus of this session is wood! Some whiskies are matured in bourbon wood casks. By comparing what happens when the whisky has been exposed to a different wood, we will be able to see how important wood management is to the Scotch industry and how maturation is just one aspect that makes Scotch so outstanding as a spirit. Get more details and the list of whiskies here.

Reservations are required. Please call 612-626-7788.
$40 per person.

New Campus Club Website Coming Soon

In the last newsletter we said the new website was coming soon. It definitely is. The new site will be launched late in the first week of November, probably on Friday. We will give a specific alert with an email.

This project has two parts because the website has two parts. Anyone will be able to view the "Public" side of the site. That is the first phase.

The second phase will be the launching of the "Private" side, which will require logging in. That comes later.

Road Construction

This is an ongoing reminder. It is late October. Driving in and around campus can be challenging. Google doesn't know the latest. A GPS unit has no clue on road closures around the University. The Road Construction Haiku Festival Planning Committee will announce the Festival opening date is the near future.

Please encourage your guests to check on road conditions and closures in months ahead.

You can direct them to this site for the most recent updates. Central Corridor .
