At the Campus Club
"Where the University Community Meets"

The Campus Club periodically has special outreach efforts to introduce people at the University to the Club.
We are glad to be working with Rusty Barcelo in an effort to connect with her colleagues and constituents.
Three special offerings are summarized below. We hope they work for you!

Updated April 28, 2008

What is
the Campus Club? It is the premier on-campus meeting place at the University of Minnesota.

The Club's excellent facilities and superior food make it the best place to meet colleagues, friends and family. We encourage members to bring guests. The Campus Club provides members with access to our dining facilities whether it is for a breakfast meeting, lunch (either cafeteria or menu service), special Member Dinner, or a special occasion such as Mother’s Day Brunch or our Wine Classes. Our facilities are also available for members to rent for their own special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, and other celebrations.

Bring a Colleague to Lunch - Get a certificate worth $10!

The intent here is to encourage people to try the Club for lunch. It's a great place to meet colleagues and friends. This should make it easier. Come to the Front Desk and fill out a very short form. We'll give you a certificate good for $10 on your colleague's lunch. If you are already a member, we'll still give you this easy opportunity to introduce a colleague to the Club. And if you aren't a member, we want to make it easier for you to try the Club.

Get the details here.

You can be a "Test Member" of the Campus Club. No charge!

This allows you to test the Club without committing to a full year's membership.
We hope that after a month you will decide to join the Club.

You can use it during lunch and at the Café Bar on weekdays.

But don't come alone ... bring some friends! Get the details here.

Never Been a Member? This is a great time to join! Get the first six months free!

The Campus Club is pleased to offer a special membership deal to constituents of Rusty Barceló, Vice President of Equity & Diversity.

The first 6 months are free! Starting in the 7th month we deduct from your paycheck at the rate of $7.27 per pay period. When you join you will receive a certificate good for Free Lunch (value $10) and an official Campus Club Member Mug.

You can sign up online right now. Choose the "Introductory" category. In the comment section, please mention Rusty. You will need your 7-digit ID # to complete your application. But before you do, please take a moment to look at this current web-based newsletter to get an idea of what goes on at the Club. We invite you to explore our website! Act now!

Do You Travel?
Here is a good deal for Campus Club members.

The Campus Club is a member of the Association of College and University Clubs. We participate in an agreement of reciprocity with fellow member clubs. Campus Club members in good standing may visit other clubs within the ACUC.

The Café Bar

This is the only Bar on campus. We offer an impressive Single Malt selection. The micro-brews and imported beers are rather amazing, especially the Belgians. You will find your favorite spirits and an ever changing variety of fine wines from around the world. We also have a wonderful espresso machine.

The menu ranges from entrées to appetizers. Come try us for dinner.
Spring Semester Hours: M-Wednesday 2:00 - 8:00
Thursday & Friday 2:00 - 9:00

What's Happening at the Club Today?

You can see what events are scheduled at the Campus Club by using our web-based event management system (EMS). You can not only check for events, but you can also request a room online. Click here for an overview. That page also has a link for first-time users.

What's for lunch today? Many members use "Today at the Club" as their bookmarked page for the Campus Club.
