When the Campus Club re-opened
in early 2003,
this tradition was founded by Chris Maziar,
Provost of the University,
who was a reliable and entertaining Celebrity Bartender
on many Fridays.
She left the University for Notre Dame.
We still miss her.
Celebrity
Bartender Duties
- Stand around and look good.
- Entertain guests with clever *badinage.
- If possible, invite colleagues to The Bar.
- When appropriate
and possible, act Celebrity-like.
You can have your Celebrity Bartender hold forth
at your private party in The Bar. Gather Round

To Apply
- Only individual Campus
Club members in good standing are eligible to serve
as Celebrity Bartender.
- Indicate
your interest. It works best if a department or
unit can provide a 3 or 4 month's worth of celebrities.
Interdisciplinary combinations are encouraged.
