The
University of Minnesota Internal Audit Department seeks to hire
a Senior Information Systems auditor or Prinical Information Systems auditorto perform
information systems audits. Our goal is develop your technical audit
skills so that you can effectively audit complex computer applications
and technological solutions.
This is an opportunity to work in one of the nation's premiere research
universities which has the goal to become one of the top three public
research universities in the world within a decade.
The Internal Audit department has been recognized as an industry
leader. In 2003, the Internal Audit department was one of 12 recipients
worldwide, which received a "commitment to quality improvement
award" from the Institute of Internal Auditors. The award recognized
professional excellence, quality of service, and professional outreach
and was based on a demonstration of knowledge.
We are seeking candidates who are interested in performing information
system audits in a complex and changing technology environments.
The ideal candidate will have some audit experience and knowledge
of information systems or experience working in a complex information
systems operation or a strong desire and necessary academic preparation
and aptitude to develop the skills.
The University is in the process of implementing the PeopleSoft
Financial modules and upgrading its PeopleSoft Student and HR modules
to version 8.9. We would prefer a candidate to have some PeopleSoft
knowledge/experience.
