Bio |
SFC Lykens is a native of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. He has 3 children, a daughter, Myeshia 16 and two boys, Joshua 11 and Noah 5. SFC Lykens began his military career 29 days after his high school graduation in 1987. He has been stationed in Germany, Hawaii and two tours at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 1997 he was reassigned to the Minneapolis Recruiting Battalion and served 4 years in Coon Rapids as a regular army recruiter. He continued serving with the Minnesota Army National Guard as an AGR soldier from December 2001 until his retirement on 29 February 2008. SFC Lykens has served in Desert Storm with the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade and in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 1/34th Brigade Combat Team. |
