Brief Outage May 21 Due to Network Upgrade

As one of the final steps in the network upgrade, several servers not previously cut over to the new system will be cut over. There will be a brief outage period for each of these servers between 8 a.m. and noon.
The servers and Web sites affected include:
- Bookstores
- Breeze 5.1
- FileNET
- ftp.software.umn.edu
- MetNet
- MyU Portal
- Northrop
- OIT FormsNirvana
- RT
- Streaming service
- UMChat (Jabber)
- WebCT: vista2.umn.edu
- WebMail 3.0 and WebMail Pro
GopherMail will be accessible only through http://gophermail.umn.edu during this outage.
