Dell Recalls Notebook AC Adapters

Dell has announced a recall of certain AC adapters used for notebook computers and is currently offering free replacements to consumers. Adapters included in the recall were shipped to consumers between September 1998 and February 2002 for use with Dell Latitude, Dell Precision, and Dell Inspiron computers. The affected adapters could overheat, posing a risk of fire or electric shock.
