DHCP Ethernet Configuration for Macintosh

This guide assumes that your computer has the network adapter and TCP/IP already installed. If you do not have these installed refer to the Macintosh Ethernet Connection Guide to install them.

  1. From the Apple Menu choose Control Panels, then TCP/IP.
  2. Set the Connect via: selection to Ethernet built-in.
  3. Set the Configure: selection to Using DHCP Server.
  4. All other fields should be blank.
  5. Close the TCP/IP control panel.
  6. Click Save to save the changes to your current configuration.
