E-mail Configuration Guides

These guides will help you configure an e-mail application (program) on your computer for use with your University e-mail account. Please read our E-mail Best Practices Guide for tips on keeping e-mail running smoothly.

Technical details: These guides were designed for IMAP configurations with SSL/TLS enabled; if you especially need to use POP instead of IMAP, we may have a POP guide for your e-mail client. IMAP vs. POP — what's the difference?

Which e-mail software is right for me?

1-HELP experts have evaluated several popular e-mail applications to arrive at the following recommendations for each platform:
